Summary:
With light to moderate supervision and guidance from the Manager of Post-Market Product Surveillance and the Sr. Data Analyst, the Data Analyst will assist with creating and communicating Post-Market Product Surveillance data across the organization. This individual will support the Sr. Data Analyst for inter-departmental data requests and work with Business Intelligence to manage data preparedness. The Data Analyst will also process product complaints to maintain familiarity with the complaint handling system.
This position is based in the San Diego office.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Work in various databases and with Business Intelligence to pull information from verified and validated sources to track and trend Post-Market Product Surveillance data.
Create charts, graphs, and other visualizations for inter-departmental communication of Post-Market Product Surveillance data.
Must be able to present information in a way that is understandable for those not familiar with the data.
Work with various departments to provide data relevant to their business processes and data needs.
Must be able to converse professionally and effectively and deliver data relevant to customer needs.
Monitor Post-Market Product Surveillance data to identify potential product performance issues for elevation to Sr. Data Analyst.
Assist in creating recurring metrics for the Post-Market Product Surveillance Management team to monitor product and department performance.
Review and evaluate complaints per Standard Operating Procedures.
Support internal, external, and third-party audits.
This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.
Required
Qualifications:
Comprehensive skills in Microsoft Office products, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Two or more years of data analysis or information distribution experience.
Knowledge of and experience in field of diabetes and CGM technology is highly desirable.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
