COMMISSIONS ANALYST POSITION
Brief Description
This Commissions Analyst will be responsible for owning the worldwide commissions process and calculations. This will involve coordination and communication with sales, accounting, human resources and the FP&A team to ensure commissions are calculated accurately and timely.

This Commissions Analyst will be responsible for owning the worldwide commissions process and calculations. This will involve coordination and communication with sales, accounting, human resources and the FP&A team to ensure commissions are calculated accurately and timely. Ongoing emphasis will be placed on reviewing the existing processes, and helping to drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and timeliness. This position has high visibility to the management team in finance and sales.
This Commission Analyst will also work in other areas such as collections and GL, depending on their areas of expertise. This is a great opportunity for a strong candidate who enjoys developing strong skills in multiple functions.
Responsibilities include:
Manage commission files and databases and produce commission reports.
Verify accuracy of commission calculations.
Own quarterly calculations and communications to sales team on compensation plans.
Communicate with sales personnel on commission questions with respect to calculations and payments.
Obtain management approvals for any commission exceptions or adjustments.
Continuously identify and implement efficient commission process.
Maintain and build excel reports of commission data as needed.
Assist with ad hoc projects.
Work closely with and back up Collections Team on customer collection matters, building sales and accounts receivable reports and other accounting projects on an as-needed basis.

A strong communicator, both written & verbal; reliable and responsive to email and phone communications.
Education and Experience:
Business, mathematics or similar degree.
2-5 years of experience in commission calculations and commissions plans set up.
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and Xactly.
Excellent excel skills including vlookup and pivot tables. Macro skills highly preferred.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
